At a very early age Ellicia saw a direct link between music and healing with sound. Ellicia has extensive musical training and an in-depth knowledge of music theory and composition. Formal training includes 6 years of full-time music study at university and various colleges and 11 years of private music instruction.
Ellicia is a Certified teaching professional and for eight years worked within the Calgary Board of Education specializing in areas of special education, music and general curriculum at the elementary and junior high school level.
Ellicia is certified in NeuroTechnology and Brainwave Entrainment.
Ellicia holds memberships in: L.D.A.A, (Learning Disability Association of Alberta), A.D.D.Now, C.H.A.D.D. (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder). As well, Ellicia holds a long standing position on the Board of Directors for C.H.P.S (Canadian Holistic Professionals Society).
Ellicia’s passion in human development leads her voluntary community participation in such programs as: the Catholic Immigration Society, LDAA, C.H.P.S, Scouts Canada and the Mustard Seed.
For the past 13 years Ellicia has developed and implemented programs for children and adults with learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, developmental delays and cognitive disorders including:
